Meet the Team
Doug Hunsaker
Founder and Instructor
Doug worked at Scaled Composites for two years on the SpaceShipTwo and Stratolaunch programs. He is now a faculty member at Utah State University and teaches courses on aerodynamics, flight dynamics, and flight simulation. His university research includes aircraft design, aerodynamic tool development, optimization, and controls.
Jeff Taylor
Instructor
Jeff studied optimum trajectories for morphing aircraft for his PhD at Utah State University. He now a faculty member at USU in the Center for Anticipatory Intelligence.
Christian Bolander
Instructor
Christian has 5 years of experience in aerodynamic analysis, simulation, and controls. He loves teaching and is now a Professor of Practice in Engineering Mathematics at Utah State University, working with students to improve their math skillset.
Sam Weiss
Instructor
Sam has 7 years of experience in aircraft design for various companies. He has lead teams in the design, fabrication, flight testing, and production of fixed wing, multi-rotor, and VTOL platforms. He strongly believes in the future of online education.
